Information about applications from Foreign residents
Currently it is our policy that we ask our customers to apply to a Guarantor Company, however in the situation where there is the customer (Applicant) is a Foreigner, the Guarantor Company is unable to accept the application or process it unless there A) a Japanese National or B) A foreign national holding a `special permanent resident` permit acting as a Guarantor.
We understand that although there are those customers that do not have a Guarantor there are many that honor their contracts and uphold a high standard of manners in living with other residents.
From now we will undertake the inspection and accept the application for respectable foreign residents who can not be accepted by the aforementioned Guarantor Company, based on the following points:
1.Necessary documents
Application form, Passport, Visa, Employers details
For students, student identification card is needed.
(For a passport : Please send us the page a picture of your face is on, the page you can proof of your nationality)
We cannot accept applications from if the visa period has expired.
If the application for renewal of visa is currently being undertaken, proof of this must be attached, and a copy of the new visa sent once it has been issued.
2.Interview
We arrange an interview with an interpreter present at a specified location.
Our interpreter will explain about the contract, moving in, and the expectations of living in Japan in the customer`s native language

3.Registration of an emergency contact.
We ask that you provide 3 emergency contact persons from within Japan.
#the emergency contact persons can be of any nationality, and do not have to be relatives. Please note it may be necessary for us to check the visa validity of the contact persons.
4.Cost
The cost is 50% of the monthly rent.
NOTE:
Depending on the results of the interview, we may ask the applicant to pay between 3 and 12 months rent in advance upon signing of the contract. Please be aware of this.
